Current Lighting.

At Current, inspiration flows both ways. In providing the lighting and control solutions that help create beautiful, functional, and safe environments, they’re inspired by the people who live, work, and play in those spaces.

Currents’ logo was a big inspiration for this project. I wanted to push myself and work with a very limited color palette. This decision wasn’t purely aesthetic as I believe the symbolism of the black and white (light and dark) is a perfect metaphor for Current Lighting. I kept things abstract but also leaned into identifiable objects and actions (Newton’s cradle, the pulling of a light switch, and looking at objects through a Viewmaster.)
